Sandra has over 21 years here in Kentucky helping the Latino community. Her knowledge and experience in tax preparation and the IRS tax code is the reason that people come to her office from as far away as Paris, Richmond, Georgetown, and even the states of Ohio and West Virginia.
Apart from her immense experience, people look forward to meeting her because she understands her community’s issues. She knows the difficulties and struggles that the Latino community has here with their immigration status and language barrier. Her goal is to inform and educate the community and help them take steps forward towards a better future.
Because there’s a lack of resources and information out there, many Latinos receive bad information and can be severely misguided. They trust her to tell it how it is and not sugar-coat the truth about everyone’s tax obligations. That’s one of the main reasons she’s one of the few tax preparers to have her office open all year. Clients are welcome to bring any IRS letters or notices to her for assistance.
Many tax businesses in the past that claimed to help the Latino community have come and gone, but there’s a reason why our doors have remained open and why we continue to be a pillar in this community. Because we do the right thing!
